Description:

Abstract:: Leaf Collection Program: Leaf Cycles; Leaf Removal; Loose leaves; bagged leaves
Purpose:: The Leaf Collection Areas are represented by polygons that are parallel to the DC Ward Boundaries and are sectioned off by A and B areas in all wards except Ward 5 which has 3 sections A, B, and C area are assigned particular dates that the leaves will be removed and when they can be raked out. The Leaf Collection Areas have attributes that designate Pass 1, Pass 2, and Pass 3, and contains collection from dates that represents a two week schedule collection by areas and wards. Each Area is separated by major road ways and divided by east and west or north and south of the wards. The leaf collection areas are established by wards and the need for leaf removal.
Supplemental_Information:: The data is used for planning, managing and accomplishing the Clean City Initiative by way of Leaf Collection within the Washington Metropolitan DC residential and commercial area.
